Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Consulting Manager for its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice to perform program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States.

You will develop industry knowledge, apply best-practice consulting, and guide client engagements with multidisciplinary teams, supporting lifecycle activities from acquisition to disposition. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management or real estate advisory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE/PMP/PE preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases: planning, pre-construction, contracts, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout; real estate portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance and best practices.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in operations.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, documentation; prepare reports and present findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors, and stakeholders for oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through real estate and capital project lifecycles from acquisition to disposition.
