Baker Tilly is seeking a Consulting Manager in the Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice to perform program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States. Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, architecture, building science, construction management, or accounting; professional certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases: planning, pre-construction, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout; and real estate portfolio management.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations for public/private sector clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce client-facing reports and Audit work papers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews and analyses of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for contractual and regulatory adherence.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews; prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors, and others to support project oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle—from acquisition to operations and disposition.
