Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Consulting Senior to join its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. You will perform construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments while delivering best practice consulting to capital projects and property operations.

You will build industry knowledge, sharpen technical skills, and grow client relationships to support integrated solutions addressing construction and real estate challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university; CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, or PE preferred.
• Experience in construction and real estate environments; knowledge of planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client reports and audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for contractual and regulatory adherence.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition to align with client objectives.
