Qualifications

• 4–10 years of relevant equity research or investing experience.
• Experience covering Financials, Capital Markets, Asset Managers or Exchanges.
• Buy-side experience in hedge funds or asset managers is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial services business models and valuations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on publicly traded financials.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Generate long and short investment ideas via primary and secondary research.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments and market drivers.
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the PM.
• Collaborate with risk and trading teams to monitor exposures.
