Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Capital Markets Data SME to design a scalable Transaction Data Warehouse and analytics platform that unites transaction data, Security Master, Reference Data, and Market Data. This senior, hands-on role has ownership across solution design, data modelling, enrichment, and analytics.

You'll work with Trading, Operations, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to translate complex data needs into scalable, trusted data foundations for analytics-ready insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Capital Markets or financial data experience with data warehouse architecture.
• Deep understanding of Security Master and Reference Data, including instrument identifiers and enrichment.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and analysis with high-volume datasets.
• Experience with columnar or time-series databases; QuestDB is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and shape a scalable Transaction Data Warehouse for analytics and reporting.
• Integrate and enrich transaction data with Security Master, Reference Data and Market Data.
• Define robust data models across transactions, instruments, issuers, pricing and market data.
• Design ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and query patterns for high-volume datasets.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and exception management with teams.
