Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategy for sub commodities within scope, becoming the subject matter expert for related categories and suppliers. You will maximize benefits from strategic sourcing across cement plant projects in North America.

You will lead sourcing activities, negotiate complex agreements, and develop relationships with senior stakeholders and key suppliers to accelerate business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of study in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Consultant, project management or sourcing experience in large capital expenditure activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute sourcing processes within Amrize’s capital projects.
• Develop category strategies and frame agreements with main suppliers.
• Drive cost savings through supplier consolidation and negotiation.
• Manage cross-functional teams through RFI/RFP processes and supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate complex contracts and monitor supplier performance.
