Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Lead Business Analyst in the Supervision Group to transform capacity planning and workforce analytics. This role partners with Resource Management and Learning & Development to forecast demand, model scenarios, and shape scheduling and training plans using data-driven insights.

You will analyze complex datasets, identify trends, lead cross-functional initiatives, and produce actionable reports on resource availability and learning program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Typically eight+ years of experience in strategic/capacity/resource planning or workforce management.
• Proven analytical skills with experience in collecting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting complex data.
• Experience in statistical analysis and modeling forecasts for demand planning or capacity models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for leadership levels.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and programs across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel), Tableau, and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a capacity plan and forecasting model for Supervision resources with demand forecasts.
• Lead scenario-based planning to advise future staffing and training plans based on data.
• Collect, model, analyze, and interpret data to support resourcing recommendations and solutions.
• Analyze data to support decisions on future skills needs and resource allocation.
• Conduct skills gap analyses across the examiner workforce to guide training investments.
• Lead cross-functional projects at the District/System level related to resource planning.
• Produce reports and analyses to monitor resource availability and learning program effectiveness.
