Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive capacity planning and forecasting for the Supervision Group. You will partner with RMG and L&D to build data-driven models and strategic insights that shape examiner workforce planning.

Ideal candidates bring a strong analytics background, experience with SQL, Python, R, and Tableau, and a track record of cross-functional project leadership. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, economics, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Eight+ years in strategic, capacity, resource planning or workforce management.
• Proven analytical skills with experience transforming and reporting complex data.
• Experience in statistical analysis and forecasting models for demand planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership presentations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and programs across multiple groups.
• Proficient in MS Office, Tableau, SQL, R, Python; able to create reporting from scratch.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Access to confidential supervisory information eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a capacity plan and forecasting model for Supervision resources.
• Perform scenario-based planning and modeling for future needs and scheduling.
• Lead collection, modeling, analysis, and interpretation of complex data for insights.
• Analyze datasets to support decisions on skills needs, resource planning and allocation.
• Conduct skills gap analysis to identify training investments.
• Lead cross-functional District and System-wide projects related to resource planning and learning.
• Produce reports and analyses to monitor resource availability and program effectiveness.
