Job summary

Emploive is seeking a Senior Capacity Engineer to own capacity planning across Compute platforms and services. You will forecast demand, model infrastructure growth, identify efficiency opportunities, and collaborate with engineering, finance, and leadership to ensure resources are right-sized and available at the right time.

A key focus is leveraging AI to build intelligent dashboards and predictive analyses.

Qualifications

8+ years in infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, or a related discipline.
Experience with capacity planning at hyperscale or large enterprise infrastructure.
Forecasting infrastructure demand and translating it into actionable supply plans.
Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with large datasets and models.
Experience applying AI/ML techniques to operational or infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end capacity planning lifecycle for platforms — demand forecasting and efficiency optimization.
Drive monthly capacity forecasts with end-to-end ownership and timely submissions.
Submit and track incremental capacity requests on a monthly cadence.
Represent the platform in capacity forums and cross-functional reviews.
Build capacity models translating growth signals into infrastructure needs.
Develop AI-assisted dashboards and tools for capacity health and trends.
Apply AI-driven analysis to predict resource needs and flag risks early.
Partner with service teams to understand workload growth and patterns.
Identify and drive efficiency improvements such as right-sizing and rebalancing.
Establish and track capacity-related SLOs and KPIs.
