Multiplier seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead Canada payroll, ensuring timely, accurate processing and strict regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance and Operations in a fully remote environment, leveraging your EOR or in-house payroll experience and your bilingual capabilities in English (mandatory) and French (nice to have).

This role requires strong problem solving and leadership to manage multiple payroll cycles and deliver insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for Canada, ensuring timely and accurate payroll services.
• Provide technical expertise and support to local teams, including payroll processing, compliance, and employee onboarding.
• Manage payroll processes across Canada, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and employees.
• Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues, providing guidance and support to teams as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to relevant teams.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting payroll-related trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
