Job summary

Silver King Beverage Company in Salt Lake City is seeking a Filling Lead to ensure smooth operation of the can filling line and maintain product quality. You will set up can filling equipment, monitor performance, and lead day‑to‑day training for operators to ensure consistent production.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to GMP and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience or training.
• Experience with can filling or packaging machinery preferred.
• Krones can filling machine experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with attention to sanitation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Configure Krones can filling machine for production runs, including can size and fill volume.
• Machine Operation: Monitor the filling line, load cans, and oversee sealing and labeling.
• Leadership, Training and Support: Train new operators and share best practices for changeovers and line efficiency.
• Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks, inspect seals, and verify fill levels.
• Troubleshooting: Identify minor malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance per GMP.
• Record Keeping: Maintain production data and machine settings for compliance.
