Job summary

NLX Beverage Solutions is seeking a Lead Filler Operator to guide lower level Operators and oversee filling and packing according to work orders, while adhering to GMPs and safety standards.

The role requires training new operators, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring product quality with accurate weight checks and documentation. Strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Sufficiently comprehend English.
• Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, calculator use.
• Knowledge of basic computer and control systems.
• Mechanical aptitude to assemble, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Basic knowledge of food processing.
• Ability to provide constructive suggestions to improve operations.
• Team oriented, helpful, respectful, and adaptable.
• Able to manage time efficiently under changing demands.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrates good work ethics and problem solving abilities.
• Detect, recognize, and judge discrepancies with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Teach and enforce SOPs and GMPs in Production.
• Enforce Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Enforce Production Department Policies and Procedures.
• Oversee processing, changeover, cleaning, and sanitation per SOPs.
• Create and maintain filler operator training programs.
