Job summary

Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Event Planning Coordinator to support planning and execution of events in Student Life spaces and across campus. You will collaborate with internal teams including Reservations and Scheduling, Catering, Audiovisual Services, Facilities Operations, Sponsorship, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• at least 4 years of full-time event planning experience
• supervisory experience
• attention to detail, follow through skills and strong communication
• flexibility in schedule, including evening and weekend work in conjunction with scheduled events

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events across campus with internal teams
• Lead client communication from concept through execution
• Collaborate with Catering, Audiovisual, Facilities, Sponsorship and other campus stakeholders
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients before, during and after events
