Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking a Senior Catering Manager to lead the on-site catering department at Texas Women's University. You will develop and drive catering solutions to meet client needs, working closely with the Catering Chef on menu development and events from coffee service to VIP dining.

Evenings, weekends and some holidays are required as needed. You will hire, train and schedule staff, manage labor and food costs, and foster strong client relationships to ensure excellent service

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience preferred for broader readiness.
• Strong hospitality knowledge and customer-centric approach.
• Experience supervising hourly staff and managing throughput.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute catering events to ensure flawless delivery.
• Develop and maintain catering plans, menus, and client communications.
• Lead hiring, training, and scheduling of catering staff.
• Control labor and food costs, oversee event preparation, transport, setup and cleanup.
• Foster client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Support efficient dining service operations with additional duties as assigned.
