Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with numerical modeling, preferably with radiometry and/or optics.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing with tools like MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with test automation and report generation concepts.
• Foundational understanding of root cause analysis principles for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with camera assemblies and involving the integration of electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure design meets specs.
• Develop software for radiometric modeling, testing automation, data analytics, and report generation.
• Conduct root cause analysis on prototype failures and create troubleshooting guides.
• Generate clear test work instructions for technicians and provide training on equipment usage.
• Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed reports to identify defects and support product improvements.
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new product introduction (NPI) processes.
