Job summary

Baxter in Medina, NY is seeking a Calibration Technician to support calibration and equipment activities for manufacturing and service operations in a regulated medical device environment.

The role requires strong mechanical or technical aptitude, onsite presence five days a week, and collaboration across teams. Candidates with GMP knowledge and willingness to learn calibration techniques are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 2 years of college/technical/trade school or US Military electronics training.
• Calibration experience is preferred but not required; strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in medical devices or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Medical Device Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate equipment to meet industry standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to component level.
• Complete calibration documentation per approved procedures.
• Operate electronic meters and read blueprints.
• Support calibration activities for manufacturing and service operations.
• Assist investigations of equipment issues affecting manufacturing.
