A leading company in the calibration and instrumentation sector is seeking a Senior Calibration Technician. This role involves maintaining and calibrating a variety of instruments at client pharmaceutical facilities, requiring strong technical skills and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and extensive experience in calibration, with opportunities for mentorship and client engagement.
This role focuses on maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on various instruments, including process, utility, and laboratory equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, transmitters, monitors, incubators, centrifuges, autoclaves, pipettes, balances, and pressure and temperature devices. Experience with computer-based calibration tracking programs (CMMS) is preferred.
The Senior Calibration Technician (Tech SR) reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director, depending on the organizational structure. These positions are non-exempt. Up to fifty percent travel may be required based on project and client needs, with most work projected to be in Massachusetts.
Expectations:
Calibration Technicians are responsible for completing calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and/or client-specific policies and procedures. They are expected to proactively support the team, provide client support, and build trust with internal and client personnel by upholding PCI values such as honesty, integrity, pride, accountability, teamwork, and commitment.
Technicians should identify and execute tasks that add value to PCI's services, providing guidance on technical issues and troubleshooting complex problems. The Tech SR is expected to develop strategic relationships with clients, offer high-level direction, and lead initiatives that demonstrate reliability, strategic insight, and thorough follow-through. They work closely with clients to evaluate, demonstrate, and implement value-added solutions.

Experience & Education:
Four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent military training plus four+ years of relevant experience in metrology, instrumentation, or calibration. Experience in quality systems/pharmaceutical environments is required.
