We are seeking a Senior Calibration Technician who can perform calibration and maintenance on laboratory and general instrumentation onsite at our client pharmaceutical facilities in Lebanon, IN, Indianapolis, IN, and other regional locations if needed. This role focuses on maintenance, calibrations, and repairs of various instruments, including process/utility/laboratory devices such as refrigerators, freezers, transmitters, monitors, incubators, centrifuges, autoclaves, pipettes, balances, and pressure and temperature devices. Experience with computer-based calibration tracking programs (CMMS) is preferred.
The Senior Calibration Technician (Tech SR) reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director, depending on the organizational structure. These positions are non-exempt. Up to 50% travel may be required based on project and client needs.
Calibration Technicians are responsible for completing calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and/or client-specific policies and procedures. They are expected to proactively support the team and provide excellent client support, building trust through honesty, integrity, pride, accountability, teamwork, and commitment.
Technicians should identify and execute tasks that add value for clients, provide guidance on technical issues, and demonstrate higher-level technical expertise to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions.
The Tech SR is expected to build strong interactions with clients, project teams, and PCI to provide strategic direction, acting as a subject matter expert, and delivering value-added solutions and services.
A four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent military training plus four+ years of relevant experience, including quality system/pharmaceutical experience, is required.
