Job summary

Wise Equation Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Automotive CAE Structural Analysis Engineer to perform FE modeling, nonlinear analysis, and fatigue life evaluation of vehicle body structures and subsystems.

You will develop high-quality meshes, use Abaqus for nonlinear analysis, and collaborate with design teams to improve strength and durability. You will also validate simulations against test data, investigate discrepancies, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in automotive CAE structural analysis and durability engineering.
• Hands-on Abaqus experience for nonlinear structural analysis.
• Proficient in FE model building and meshing with ANSA or HyperMesh.
• Experience with nCode for fatigue life estimation.
• Knowledge of BIW, closures, chassis and suspension systems.
• Experience in CAE validation and test correlation.

Responsibilities

• Develop FE meshes and simulation models for complete vehicle structures and subsystems.
• Perform nonlinear structural strength analyses to evaluate stress and deformation.
• Build FE models using ANSA or HyperMesh and ensure model quality.
• Conduct fatigue life prediction and durability assessments using nCode.
• Validate CAE results against test data and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify weaknesses and propose design improvements with the team.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
