Optimal Solution Company is seeking a CAE Engineer focused on durability and fatigue analysis to join our engineering team in Dearborn, MI. You will perform road-load simulations, modal transient analyses, and root-cause investigations to validate design solutions against key performance metrics.

The role requires 10+ years in CAE, strong materials science knowledge, and proficiency with major FEA tools including ANSA, Hypermesh, NASTRAN, Abaqus and Fatigue software such as nCode/FeSafe.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in CAE with emphasis on fatigue analysis.
• Strong background in material science and fatigue principles.
• Expertise in linear/non-linear analysis and structural mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and fatigue simulations involving road loads.
• Conduct modal transient analysis and detailed root-cause studies.
• Correlate virtual results with physical data to confirm confidence.
• Communicate results with Design & Release teams and QA groups.
• Maintain knowledge of internal/external fatigue tools and standards.
• Contribute to CAE projects and initiatives from Technical Specialist.
