Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator in the United States to drive cross-discipline BIM workflows across transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce BIM standards, and mentor production staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience in design/drafting is preferred.
• Experience with BIM/CADD standards and coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline coordination for transit/multimodal projects.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate resolutions.
• Establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards and workflows.
• Mentor and train junior modeling staff across offices.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
• Perform general design support tasks and ensure model integrity.
