Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation is seeking a CAD Technician III to create and modify 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and models from sketches and redline drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation. The role collaborates with the project management team to ensure deliverables meet specifications.

Requires an Associate degree in CAD or equivalent, 3+ years CAD experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and FDOT surveying standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD or design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of CAD experience.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D/3D drawings, schematics and models from sketches, redlines and other formats.
• Assist Licensed Surveyor/Mapper and project team to meet specifications.
• Perform boundary research, deed research and plotting; prepare legal descriptions and plats.
• Quality control checks of drawings and deliverables; ensure schedules and production objectives are met.
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients; organize workload and meet deadlines.
