Job summary

Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a CAD Technician III to create and modify heavy construction drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models from sketches and redline drawings using CAD software. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure deliverables meet project specs.

Requirements include an associate degree in CAD and Design or equivalent, 3+ years CAD experience, SIT Level III+ certification a plus, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD and Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of CAD experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and FDOT surveying.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Licensed Surveyor and Mapper in applying Land Surveying principles.
• Develop and implement new procedures and practices.
• Perform boundary research, calculation, and analysis.
• Prepare legal descriptions, survey drawings, and plats.
• Provide technical office support and quality control of drawings.
