Job summary

SAMES, Inc. is seeking Level I CAD Technicians to use AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and survey support. You will prepare basic to intermediate surveys and assist with corrections to drawings from a senior technician.

You will research property data, verify boundaries, and produce boundary exhibits per required standards. Ideal candidates are proficient with AutoCAD/MicroStation, have 0–2 years drafting experience, and can work well in a team with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• 0–2 years drafting experience; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.
• Fast learner with good time management and attention to detail.
• Team player with ability to work with minimal supervision and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce mortgage/improvement surveys and deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Create drawings per corporate standards (colors, scales, layers, line types).
• Research property data to verify boundaries and ownership.
• Prepare boundary exhibits describing property boundaries relative to adjacent properties.
