Job summary

Lumen Technologies in Virginia seeks a CAD Technician III – Federal to prepare, update, and maintain Inside Plant and Outside Plant drawings in AutoCAD, translating field notes and design inputs into compliant diagrams.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams, develop project documentation in Excel, and support drawing deliverables and schedules. A four-year drafting background and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Four+ years drafting experience with AutoCAD 2020 or later.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for documentation and tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication with engineers and project teams.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to maintain eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain Inside Plant and Outside Plant drawings in AutoCAD.
• Develop and update project documentation in Excel, including logs and tables of contents.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders on deliverables and schedules.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and communicate status clearly.
