Job summary

Lumen is seeking a skilled AutoCAD drafter to support engineering planning and record-keeping. You will draft floor and site plans, AC 1-line drawings, and manage the drawings library on SharePoint while collaborating with engineers on new projects.

The role requires 3+ years in AutoCAD (v2020+), strong attention to detail, and preferred GIS/telecom or data center design experience. This is a full-time remote position in the USA with a standard M-F schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 3+ years of AutoCAD experience (v2020+).
• AutoCAD proficiency with attention to detail and efficient turnaround.
• Preferred experience in Telecommunication/Data Center design, Architectural design, Electrical/AC 1-line design, or GIS/Civil design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to draft initial designs for new projects.
• Create floor plans and site plans, including equipment changes or new construction.
• Develop AC 1-line drawings and electrical symbols.
• Manage Drawings Library and drawing workflow on SharePoint.
• Produce 2D and 3D blocks and PDFs for design updates.
• Serve as AutoCAD SME and assist with AutoCAD tools for efficiency.
