Job summary

Lumen is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter to support engineering planning. You will draft floor and site plans, maintain record drawings, and manage the drawings library using SharePoint. Expect collaboration with engineers and vendors, with 2D and 3D blocks creation and AC 1-line design work.

Responsibilities include researching missing information, producing PDFs, and acting as SME for AutoCAD while assisting planners and engineers with tooling and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and 3+ years in AutoCAD software.
• AutoCAD proficiency and detail-oriented with efficient turnaround.
• Experience in telecom, data center, architectural or electrical design.
• Knowledge of GIS/mapping, mechanical or electrical building systems.

Responsibilities

• Create initial designs for new projects with engineers.
• Produce floor and site plans, and AC 1-line drawings.
• Maintain Drawings Library and SharePoint workflow.
• Locate property lines using GIS data and surveying info.
• Create 2D and 3D blocks; generate PDFs for design updates.
• Act as SME for AutoCAD and assist with related issues.
