Job summary

Lumen is seeking an AutoCAD-focused drafter to support engineering planning and record drawings for infrastructure projects. You will create floor plans, site plans, and AC 1-line drawings, while maintaining the Drawings Library and SharePoint workflows.

You’ll collaborate with engineers to design for new projects and ensure accuracy and timely delivery. The role requires 3+ years of AutoCAD experience (v2020+), a Bachelor's or equivalent, and expertise in related areas such as GIS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience (v2020+).
• AutoCAD proficiency with attention to detail and efficient turnaround.
• Telecommunication or Data Center design experience (preferred).
• Architectural, electrical/AC 1-line, or GIS/Mapping experience (preferred).
• AutoCAD Map 3D experience (preferred).
• .NET or AutoLISP programming for AutoCAD (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to create initial designs for new projects.
• Develop floor plans and site plans, including equipment changes.
• Research property lines using GIS data and imagery for site work.
• Create and modify AC 1-Line electrical drawings.
• Maintain Drawings Library and SharePoint workflows.
• Serve as SME for AutoCAD and assist planners/engineers with tooling.
