Job summary

Tri-County Steel LLC (TCS) is seeking an experienced Drafter to provide drafting and technical data support at NSWC Crane for Navy weapons systems and platform integration efforts.

You will work cradle-to-grave in a high-precision environment, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, developing TDPs in Windchill, and ensuring configuration management across the product life cycle. Security clearances and DoD standards apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years drafting experience in mechanical/electrical domains.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or Creo in conjunction with Windchill PDM.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.5 and MIL-STD-31000 drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, and Windchill as required.
• Develop and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in Windchill.
• Produce detailed drawings for mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical hardware across prototypes and platform integrations.
• Support prototype fabrication and first article efforts with shop-ready drawings and as-built updates to the TDP.
• Process drawing changes (ECPs, NORs, revisions) and support CM and data management across the lifecycle.
