Job summary

Synerfac Inc. in Bethlehem, PA seeks a skilled Drafter/Designer to support the design and manufacturing of turbomachinery components.

You will develop precise CAD layouts, drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documentation in collaboration with Engineering, Shop, Purchasing, and Project Management. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining CAD layouts, 3D models, drawings, BOMs in the MRP system, and mentoring junior drafters.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Must have experience with NX/Teamcenter, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Must have experience with turbomachinery or related machined components.
• Must have experience using metrology scan data (PolyWorks or similar) to create 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
• Must have experience using measuring tools such as veniers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections and collect data for project layouts and designs.
• Create and maintain CAD layouts, 3D models, and engineering drawings.
• Develop BOMs and maintain drafting-related project information in the MRP system.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Shop, and Purchasing to ensure drawings are accurate and manufacturable.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior drafters and participate in customer site visits as needed
