Job summary

Florida Turbine Technologies, a Kratos Company, seeks a Senior Design Drafter/Modeler to create and check complex drawings using CAD tools. You will work with engineering on model accuracy, tolerances, and ECN documentation, supporting military and commercial turbomachinery programs.

The role requires an expert grasp of drafting methods, GD&T, and experience with Siemens NX or PTC Creo, plus PLM familiarity with Teamcenter or Windchill and SAP.

Qualifications

• A.S. degree in Drafting and Design Technology or equivalent is required.
• 10 to 12 years of drafting and modeling experience in complex parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Check and prepare models and detailed drawings of complex parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering to incorporate requirements into designs.
• Manage large assemblies and BOMs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Apply GD&T principles to tolerances and fits for complex designs.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
