Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Design Engineer in the Mankato, MN area to lead the design of ductile iron castings using CAD and casting-simulation software. You will create manufacturable designs, support clients, and ensure part integrity throughout development.

The role covers design, development, and evaluation of foundry components, with collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams. A Bachelora0in engineering is preferred; 7+ years CAD experience and knowledge of casting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
• Associate's degree in engineering or related field acceptable.
• 7+ years CAD modeling experience and experience in castings and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and assess ductile iron castings using CAD and simulation tools.
• Provide technical assistance to clients and ensure operational effectiveness.
• Create designs for manufacturing processes and evaluate tooling and foundry components.
• Conduct engineering design appraisals for diverse castings.
