Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking a Cabin Upgrade Project Engineer in Mobile, AL to bridge engineering design with flawless project execution. The role emphasizes lifecycle management, planning, and coordination on cabin retrofit projects, ensuring SBs are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering with 6+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (CATIA), and proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautic/Civil/Electrical) required.
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience or 4 years with Master’s degree.
• Direct exposure to project or program engineering methodologies.
• Proven ability to read and interpret design documents and SBs.

Responsibilities

• Own cabin retrofit project scope and deliverables from concept to execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support certification and regulatory processes as required.
• Lead risk management and stakeholder communications throughout projects.
