Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Cabin Upgrade Project Engineer in Mobile, AL. You will bridge complex engineering data with actionable execution plans for cabin retrofit programs, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to customer expectations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with Service Bulletins and engineering orders, while upholding regulatory and safety standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree-Engineering with six years of experience, or Master’s with four years.
• Direct exposure to project or program engineering methodologies.
• CAD skills to create, interpret, and review designs using CAD tools (CATIA).
• Authorized to work in the US and capable of global collaboration.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations and service bulletin processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cabin retrofit projects from global architecture to detailed design.
• Manage subcontractors, costs, and delivery within schedule targets.
• Coordinate with customers and supply chain on Service Bulletins and engineering orders.
• Mitigate risks, finalize deal closures, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Support certification planning and regulatory compliance activities.
