Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama seeks a Cabin Design Engineer to develop and integrate cabin interiors and payloads for airline customers.

You will evaluate supplier 3D/2D designs, manage part numbers, and support FAL installation issues, contributing to the lifecycle from concept to installation. The role requires a BS in a related engineering field and 6 years of design/analysis experience, with strong communication skills and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of experience in design, analysis, and systems/structural integration of cabin interiors, monuments, furnishings, or payload installation projects.
• Experience handling configuration management, engineering change tracking, or part structures within an aerospace Design Office environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier 3D/2D design solutions and manage part number data within complex databases.
• Troubleshoot installation issues at the Final Assembly Line (FAL) and track critical supplier deliverables.
• Author customized specifications to meet airline requirements.
