Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Cabin Engineer in Mobile, Alabama to develop solutions across the 2D/3D design space, modernizing processes with digitalization and automation.

You’ll coordinate with internal customers and manufacturers for 2D/3D design updates and deliverables across the aircraft cabin lifecycle. The role emphasizes design/manufacturing collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and advancing automation while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) required.
• 0–3 years design/analysis with cabin and cargo and/or system installation projects.
• Strong proficiency using Google G Suite.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and be proactive with teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to write reports, specifications, and other technical documents.
• CAD experience with Catia V5; MS Office/Google mastery.
• Authorized to Work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Support Design & Engineering Delivery (40%).
• Assist with updating 2D/3D models per requirements under senior supervision.
• Track customization milestones and support project deliverables through the engineering change process.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support design manufacturability.
• Help identify recurring design issues and contribute to automated solutions.
• Prepare engineering models and documentation following standards and templates.
• Gather and organize test and certification data for senior review.
• Support automation initiatives and data analysis workflows.
