Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
• 9+ years in aircraft cabin interior design, stress/integration analysis, and certification.
• Strong proficiency with Google G Suite.
• Willingness to learn and be proactive with teams.
• Flexibility with changing environments.
• Ability to write reports, specs, and technical documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and writing ability.
• Ability to present information and answer questions on documentation.
• Clear communication between vendors and engineering teams.
• Frequent cross-departmental communication, internal and external.
• CAD experience essential with Catia V5; MS Office/Google proficiency; learn new tools as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cabin engineering projects from concept to install with clear objectives and commitments.
• Act as primary technical contact on contracts and projects; interact with senior external personnel and airline customers.
• Obtain and use Approve/Authorizer technical signatory status for releases and design approvals.
• Guide cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, safety, and integration integrity.
• Lead creation and execution of certification plans, test data, and documentation.
• Automate engineering workflows and data analysis using Python and related libraries.
• Leverage Google Workspace and AI tools to streamline project management and research.
• Extract and process data from internal databases and supplier portals using web automation.
