Job summary

Airbus Americas in Mobile, AL seeks a Cabin Engineer to develop digitalized solutions for 2D/3D cabin design coordination, improving efficiency and data-driven decision making. You’ll collaborate across teams to update models and automate tasks, with focus on manufacturablity and documentation.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 0–3 years of relevant design experience, plus strong English communication and US work authorization.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Aero, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical fields.
0–3 years design/analysis experience in cabin, cargo or system installation projects.
Strong proficiency with Google G Suite and MS Office.
Ability to write reports, specifications and technical documents; good English.
Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Update and revise 2D/3D models based on manufacturing and design requirements.
Track customization milestones and support project deliverables through the engineering change process.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support design manufacturability.
Identify recurring design issues and develop scripted or automated solutions.
Create project deliverables including feasibility studies, integration plans, and clash investigations.
Maintain routine engineering reports, data analysis workflows, and documentation.
Provide design input during team reviews and prepare engineering models and documentation.
