Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Operations Manager to lead the operational infrastructure of our California employment practice. This senior role requires building and scaling processes for high-volume claims, aligning with attorneys, and driving efficiency across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in employment litigation operations, experience with case management platforms, and a proven ability to lead teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing employment claims or employment litigation operations, with direct exposure to California dockets.
• Background at a major EPLI carrier strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of California employment law and its exposure landscape (PAGA, FEHA, CFRA, wage & hour class actions).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end case oversight across California employment docket, ensuring matters move on track and properly staffed.
• Design and enforce case management workflows and operational standards for high-volume litigation.
• Partner with attorneys to identify bottlenecks and keep cases progressing from intake through resolution.
• Build dashboards and KPIs for real-time docket visibility and team performance.
• Develop and maintain vendor and outside counsel panels for cost-effective support.
• Lead and mentor a team of case managers, paralegals, and operations staff.
• Evaluate and implement technology tools and process improvements to increase throughput.
• Own the operational playbook for California employment law compliance (PAGA, FEHA, wage & hour).
