Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a C5ISR Engineer (SAMD) to support Foreign Military Sales cases. You will perform systems engineering, analyze country requirements, and work across C5ISR domains including radios, sensors, night vision, EW, and satellites.

The role requires ten+ years of experience, MTCR training, and the ability to brief senior management. Travel, including OCONUS, is expected as needed to support government customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• FMS experience.
• Formal MTCR training completed.
• Ability to brief senior management.
• Willingness to travel, including OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering and analysis of FMS country requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge of C5ISR systems (radars, comms, sensors, EW, satellites).
• Assess configuration management of assigned equipment.
• Analyze contract technical deliverables (SOW/PWS, ARP, IGCE).
• Vet release of FMS equipment per SAMD Manual.
• Develop Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARP) for IDIQ/Definite contracts.
• Conduct FMS case evaluations and prepare decision documentation.
• Advise SSEBs per Security Assistance Manual.
• Prepare briefs to organizations and customers using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Assist in drafting J&A, sole source actions, and other procurement docs.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders and vendors.
