Job summary

Innovative Reasoning, LLC seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to provide on-site C4I analysis and engineering support for USMC and Navy programs at Quantico, VA. You will map interfaces, develop system requirements, and coordinate with DoD stakeholders to ensure interoperability across afloat and ashore networks.

The role requires active security clearance, strong collaboration skills, and deep knowledge of naval IT architectures, Cisco routing, Windows Server/AD, and IA controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or related field, or 12 years of substantive, relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of naval network systems engineering, analysis and design.
• Experience coordinating with Navy/Marine Corps/Joint staff on system requirements.
• Knowledge of current and legacy information exchange systems for ashore/ afloat units.
• Knowledge of Cisco routing & switching fundamentals and network architectures.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, AD/Exchange and security controls (IA).

Responsibilities

• Analyze system data exchanges and develop requirements for C4ISR/Navy interfaces.
• Represent USMC interests with stakeholders to inform policy and fielding plans.
• Draft reports, briefings, and business cases supporting lifecycle sustainment.
• Coordinate C5I integration and interoperability across afloat and ashore platforms.
• Perform gap reviews and maintain currency in relevant technologies and concepts.
• Support networking projects including architecture, design, testing, and documentation.
