Job summary

Quindar is seeking a backend C2 software engineer to connect our platform with satellite vehicles. You’ll design and implement machine-to-machine communications, handle binary protocols, and ensure reliable data transport across heterogeneous spacecraft fleets.

You'll apply aerospace C2 concepts, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help create abstractions that enable many spacecraft integrations from a single platform, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to travel between

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years in software for satellite command and control or similar M2M systems
• Experience taking protocol/interface from docs to production
• Strong systems thinking and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Develop backend C2 software connecting Quindar’s platform to satellite vehicles
• Work with binary protocols, telemetry, and data transport
• Translate spacecraft interfaces into reliable platform integrations
• Help build abstractions and tooling for multi-spacecraft support
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid office environment
