Job summary

Quindar is seeking an experienced backend engineer to develop the Command & Control software linking our platform with satellite vehicles. You will build systems enabling reliable spacecraft communication, abstracting complexity for users, and tackling machine-to-machine communication challenges.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to onboard new satellites, implement robust abstractions, and advance the platform for scalable, maintainable operations across missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing software for satellite command and control or similar complex embedded systems.
• Experience taking a protocol or hardware integration from docs to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend C2 software connecting Quindar platform to satellite vehicles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to onboard new satellites and translate spacecraft interfaces to platform integrations.
• Develop abstractions, tooling, and architecture to support many spacecraft without rebuilding each integration.
• Contribute to reliable, maintainable, and scalable space operations software.
