Quindar is seeking a backend C2 engineer to develop the software that connects Quindar’s platform to satellite vehicles. You will build systems that enable diverse spacecraft to communicate reliably while hiding complexity from users.

Work involves machine-to-machine communications, real-time and embedded systems, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to onboard new vehicles and translate spacecraft interfaces into robust integrations with our platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, CSE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development for satellite command and control, telecommunications, networking, robotics, embedded systems, or related complex M2M environments.
• Experience taking a protocol/interface from docs to production, testing and deployment.
• Prior aerospace experience is not required; strong systems/comm experience in adjacent domains is welcome.

Responsabilités

• Develop backend C2 software connecting the platform to satellite vehicles.
• Work with binary protocols, telemetry, data transport, and stateful communication.
• Translate spacecraft interfaces into reliable, maintainable integrations with the platform.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to onboard new spacecraft and develop scalable abstractions.
