Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Batch Developer (LINUX/C/SQL) to join our remote team that supports healthcare clients. You will lead diverse workstreams to design, test and install complex software spanning server, client and web components.

You will collaborate with architects and developers to ensure requirements and ROI are solid, document designs and coding standards, and provide expertise on batch processes and data validation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of application development and programming experience with C, Linux, job scripts/streams, SQL, and IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Experience resolving cycle abends, debugging batch code.
• Strong SQL/data analysis for troubleshooting and validation.
• Production support, defect analysis, data investigation and end-to-end testing.
• Pharmacy or healthcare systems knowledge (NCPDP – D.0, EDI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Head up workstreams to design, develop, test and install complex applications software across server, client and web components.
• Bridge gaps between application architects and developers to ensure ROI and design accuracy.
• Produce detailed design, coding and testing documentation for a technical product.
• Apply development, domain, application design, web service and database best practices.
• Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects.
