Job summary

NinjaOne, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance Platform & Asset Management. You will design scalable C++ features for endpoint agents, focusing on macOS and Linux environments, helping 40,000+ customers tailor the platform to their needs.

This remote-friendly, full-time role offers hybrid options in Austin or Tampa. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to high-performance multi-threaded systems, and work with a cloud stack including Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of systems level C++ engineering, C++14 or newer, with C++17 preferred.
• Strong Linux systems programming experience, including service management and IPC.
• Strong macOS systems experience, including endpoint security frameworks and configuration profiles.
• Experience designing high-performance, multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with CMake and vcpkg, or equivalent build systems.
• Ability to design evolving multi-process C++ architectures and IPC contracts.
• Experience with embedded databases like SQLite and writing test plans.
