Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Platform & Asset Management team. You will own software used by tens of thousands of customers, focusing on scalable, high-performance C++ on macOS and Linux across a cloud-based AWS stack.

Work is hybrid remote in the USA with offices in Tampa, FL, and Austin, TX. The role requires 7+ years of systems-level C++ experience, strong IPC and multi-threading skills, and familiarity with Linux, macOS, CMake, and embedded databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of systems-level C++ engineering (C++14+; C++17 preferred).
• Strong Linux systems programming experience (service/process management, IPC).
• Strong macOS systems experience (Apple Endpoint Security, launchd, profiles).
• Expertise in high-performance, multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with CMake and vcpkg or similar build systems.
• Ability to design multi-process C++ architectures and IPC contracts.
• Experience writing test plans and coverage for functional requirements.
• Able to collaborate across teams to define technical requirements.

• Commit code and ship products as one of our trusted engineers.
