Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced backend engineer to lead the development of scalable, secure services and AI-enabled capabilities for enterprise property tax workflows. You will architect and implement REST/GraphQL APIs, mentor teams, and strengthen CI/CD and testing practices.

The role emphasizes AI integration, data extraction, and automated validation within complex tax processing systems, with remote work options and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed enterprise platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET for backend development.
• Proven experience building resilient REST or GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Experience with AWS, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Fluent English communication; able to collaborate across distributed teams.
• Awareness of AI-enabled development and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise property tax workflows.
• Build AI-powered services to automate property tax processing and compliance.
• Modernize workflows by automating data ingestion and integrations.
• Define architecture for agentic property tax workflows and deployment strategies.
• Deliver production-ready AI-enabled capabilities like document classification and data extraction.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, monitoring, and reliability.
• Establish automated testing standards with high coverage.
• Perform code reviews and evaluate designs for maintainability and security.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices in distributed systems and AI.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to business challenges.
