Jobgether is seeking an experienced backend-focused software engineer to design, build, and scale production systems that move data from cloud warehouses to downstream services. The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and ownership across the full lifecycle of services.

You will contribute to APIs, integrations, and data processing workflows while collaborating with a startup team that values initiative, mentoring, and rapid iteration on AI-enabled data platforms.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building, deploying, and maintaining production systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and backend development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience designing, building, and scaling backend services and distributed architectures.
• Practical experience with production operations, incident response, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop backend systems: Build, maintain, and operate scalable backend services that move data from cloud warehouse queries to downstream systems.
• Optimize platform performance: Improve how services ingest events, execute queries, transform results, and coordinate data delivery.
• Build APIs and integrations: Develop and maintain APIs and integrations across major cloud data warehouses.
• Own production systems end to end: Design, implement, deploy, monitor, and maintain services throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure reliability and observability: Participate in on-call rotation, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements to prevent recurrences.
• Develop shared engineering tools: Create reusable components, automation, and developer tools to boost productivity.
