Nix is seeking a Senior C# .Net Backend Engineer to help deliver AI-powered applications across AI Governance, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Portfolio Management. The role involves building in C#, .Net Core within an Azure microservice environment, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet ambitious product goals.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to code reviews, and participate in agile ceremonies while helping shape data structures and scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL).
• Experience in performance optimization for responsive products.
• Proficiency with Azure native technologies (App Services, Functions).
• Unit tests and integration tests supporting regular releases.
• Good understanding of OOP and SOLID principles; agile environment.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior C# .Net Backend Engineer to help our client develop AI-powered applications for AI Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, IT Portfolio Management, Process Analysis and a Digital Twin of the Organization to provide a unified, real-time view of your enterprise operating model.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Product Owner and the team to refine features, stories and acceptance criteria
• Working with C#, .Net Core in an Azure Microservice environment
• Working on performance optimization to speed up product response times
• Assist with data structuring
• Formulating solutions to technically challenging requirements
• Adhering to existing coding standards and practices, and working with other technical leads to continuously improve these
• Partaking in a culture of code reviewing and collaboration
• Attending team meetings such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, planning, refinements, and technical discussions
• Partaking in presentations and code workshops

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in C# .Net/Net Core
• SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Performance optimization
• Azure native technologies (i.e. App Services, Functions etc.)
• Integration and Unit Test experience supporting regular production releasesically
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and S.O.L.I.D principles
• Experience with Scrum and development in an agile environment
• Exposure to Micro-frontends and Microservices
• Experience with AI tools and their application in software development
• Experience of mentoring and guiding multi-discipline engineers
• Strong communication skills
